I've been a big fan of Thomson stems forever. They are strong and bombproof, but mine has the graphics for positive mounting. The new build lets me flip and slam the stem, so I did the sharpie mod. Turned out pretty good in my option and was easy to do. 99% alcohol takes it right off if I change my mind too.

The Specialized CG-R post is about the ugliest post ever made and while it was gold and comfortable it was also a boat anchor. 450mm long.
307.9g with most of the weight in the head. The Enve post fit the bill at 400mm and 20mm offset. I looked at a lot of other posts and this one popped up for a great deal and is just as comfortable, as confirmed by my butt-o-meter.
213.2g Total savings 94.7g
Looks 1000% improvement!

New Tire Day! 28mm
Got some GP5000lt from a warrenty claim, but decided to go try out the Pro one TLE.
Pretty easy to get the front tire on. Rear was only slightly harder. Super easy to pop them onto the beads. On DT Swiss ERC 1000 Dicut wheels.
Meassure 27.6mm. we will see how they streach. rought road just seems to disapear under them. Big hits are harsher. I think the reduction in volume has an effect on the bigger hits. Pro ones feel faster at high speed but now as fast at slow speed. They are taller then the GP5000lt too.

Picked up a Garmin Varia rtl510 and since my seat has bolts, I fabricated a mount. I have access to a 3d printer, but don’t really trust it with an expensive radar/light. Some of the Shapeway mounts look interesting, but don’t put it in my preferred placement.
Started out with a cardboard template and then transferred it to graph paper so that it was square and symmetrical. I had some 2 inch aluminum angle that was light and super strong. After some hacksaw work, several test fits and lots of file/dermal work I had the basic layout. Was able to transfer the bolt holes and get the bend just right for a nice tight fit. I highly recommend waiting to bend it as it made drilling out the rest of the holes much harder.
It took quite a bit more time than I planned on to get the finish and all the holes drilled. I was able to take out 10g of weight while keeping the piece more than strong enough. I was going to paint it gold, but decided on the stealth look of black.
All together it’s stronger, lighter and looks better than the stock mount and I can use the stock one on my wifes bike so both of us can use the radar.

Super Light Sram Blip Build.
I used these DC power jack adapter male connector. I cut the top sides off so they would fit inside the stock Sram plugs.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077R ... UTF8&psc=1
For switches, I picked up a micro set, that turned out to be too small. I ended up using the largest 6x6x5mm switches. Anything smaller is impossible to push. I recommend something like these
https://www.amazon.com/Momentary-Tactil ... 35&sr=8-37
For wire I used a 3 wire headphone jack that I had laying around and stripped out the 3rd wire. It fit perfectly into the drilled out Sram plugs and I was able to pull the slack wire threw the sheath for a clean look. I’m going to need to unwrap my bars and figure out the exact length before installing the buttons and heat shrinking the connections. Total weight should be sub 8g. I also tested them to make sure the functioned and they fit and worked perfectly.

How are these rotors working for you?
Also, can you tell me the part number for those Trickstuff Power+?
Thanks!
2020 Venge Pro - 6.86kg
Rotors are great. FYI the trickstuff pads had more noise with the sram rotors, but almost none with Shimano.
Trickstuff 830 power a pads are the ones for Same force and new new Red calipers. Dust is much lower with these pads too.

Just picked up some XTR 140mm rotors today. Looking forward to saving some easy weight!

Got the final fitting for the remote "Blips" done. Super light and completely transparent under the tape. Going to take some time to get the muscle memory to exactly where they are as you can't feel them until they click.

New crankset from quarq today. It's a clone of AXS Red dub. 333g and 140g lighter than the force ones. Most of the weight saving is in the spindle.
Of course I couldn't leave it with silver highlights. Broke out the gold paint to match the bike.
