Congrats on the new C64? What size is your frame? Do you have sufficient clearance with the wide Enve 4.5ARs?

I have been impatiently waiting on the internal DTI unit to upgrade to 12 speed EPS. would love your impresssions on shift quality and drivetrain noise.

It is a 54s and there is plenty of clearance with the wheels. I'm in awe of the Super Record EPS 12 speed shift quality after five years on DurAace Di2 (and mech. SRAM Red before that), and the MyCampy app, while a bit clunky, allows comprehensive customization of the SR12 performance. The shifts have a noticable mechanical clunk compared to DADi2. It's not in annoying in any way, but more of a feature of the groupset. The shift buttons are postive and the button tension is reminiscent of a cabled interface. There is virtually no drivetrain noise that I can hear, other than the standard chain noise as lubrication wears. I do notice a bit more automatic front mech trimming than DADi2. I have ordred the frame-mounted internal DTI unit and both my LBS and Campy USA say to expect a late June delivery.

Hey groover08 - hopefully you're still enjoying your C64, looks great.

Did you get the frame mounted DTI? My LBS was informed that the downtube opening on the C64 is not compatible with the Campy unit and the handlebar V4 is the only internal option.

Montpier, get the bar end DTI instead of the external junction box under the stem.

That truly is a Grade A Superbike - you Sir are very lucky indeed. Beautiful.

I just wish it was sporting some Campy wheels, but then the Enves are probably better!

Hey Grover. I'm thinking about ordering a C64 frameset soon. Seem to be about the same size as you. I'm torn between running a 54s with the same spacer stack as you or a 54h with 3 less spacers. Any particular reason you went with the 54s vs 54h? Thanks.

I got a 54H late last year and run it with Enve SES Aero road bars and the SR9 stem in 11 cm length with the cable guide that is 10mm tall as well as a single 5mm spacer. Like you, I could have also gone with the 54S by adding another 10mm more worth of spacers and if I had it to over again today, I would most likely go with the 54S because I often think that with a nearly 19cm tall headtube, the 54H is really better suited for a taller person.
