Absolutely - I’m just fitting this post until my fit is dialled in and then I’ll get something high end so I can fit it and not worry about scratching it constantly through minor adjustments.
Gorgeous bike but can’t get over the massive weight!!

Don't worry - the weight issue isn't something that has been lost on me! The only saving grace is my weight at 90KGs, the bike weight isn't going to be the limiting factor on any climbing here! Obviously with the addition of discs there in a considerable weight penalty to almost every part as most on WW know all too well.
I also am not one who has extolled the virtues of discs and the weight/if they are even needed for most. I have made this purchase for several reasons which I shall elaborate very briefly on so it makes sense to all:
-First baby on the way, wanted to future proof myself now from any big spends on the bike. The C60 was incredible, but couldn't help but think the drivetrain etc would need updating shortly and didn't fancy stumping up the cash for that. This has cost me only another 20% on the sale price of the C60 and should last me 5+ years minimum.
-I will be looking to do a lot of travelling overseas with the bike in the coming few years, although a good bike box would resolve this with carbon having steel gives me added piece of mind for less hassle.
-If I am honest, I just wanted something new and different than the norm. Won't be everybody's cuppa but I'm very excited!! Plus drivetrain can switch to another frameset if I really don't get on with this!

Please do continue, I am taking notes on how to get my Titanium boat anchor from 9.3 kgs to 8 ish, although I did not weigh my frame before building it up, I don't think it was 1.9kg but my LBS owner and me did look at each other when he first hefted the frame out of the box.welchy wrote:Don't worry - the weight issue isn't something that has been lost on me! Update: Wheely happy with the tyre choice.. the frame should be arriving within the next few hours!
She’s arrived... gotta get it built, build photos to come!
So the fulcrum wheels I bought came as standard with 6 bolt disc setup, unfortunately AFS/Spline centrelock wasnt an option as I bought them on eBay.
Therefore the only option is to go for a matching Magura disc to go with the Campy MT8 style Caliper. This leaves the same thickness disc.. so the discs are Magura HC SL rotors (if I remember correctly). This means the setup should be the same as the AFS rotors.

What are people thoughts on stripping weight next? I’m wanting a lightweight post around 150g mark and maybe Carbon/bar stem combo.
I was thinking about deda superlegerro bar stem, seems low weight. But I’d like to match the post and the superlegerro seatpost isn’t that light. Next option would be Fizik Cryano 00, Enve, Hope or Ritchey superlogic. Issue being non Italian and also price. The schmolke, Darimo and other super lightweight options are all way too expensive. The others you can get between £70-150 new or second hand but barely used.
