Today I picked up a Cannondale Supersix EVO Force racing edition. I think it's something different than black/green or white/black and in fact I like it a lot. The bike was all original - incl. a lot of spacers, original saddle - original chainrings a not a scratch on shifters or derailleurs. Wheels are the magical Zipp 404 Firecrest 2017 Clinchers ( I have the same but Tubulars on my Scott ). Came home, cut the fork - put on the Berk Lupina UD - cleaned the bike - and found one little blemmish on the rearstay from a 27.5mm Conti 4000 S tire ( 25mm out of the box ).

I think a few changes will take place : handlebar - seatpost ( Deda Superleggera / Superzero like on the Holdsworth ) and maybe a pair of Stronglight or Sram chainrings ( all black looks better on this build I guess ). On the bottle cages I need some advise , Arundel matt or to keep these for a while.

So here are some first pictures.

Frame : Cannondale Supersix EVO incl Vork
Groupset : Sram Force 22 met cannondale SI crank 52/36
Wheels : Zipp 404 Firecrest clincher 2017- Schwalbe one 25mm tires. ( meassure 25.8mm )
Seatpost - stem - handlebar : Cannondale C2
Saddle : Berk Lupina UD
Pedals : Look Keo
Cassette : Shimano Ultegra 11-28
Bottle cages : Cannondale

Very nice paintjob, I agree about black chainrings, for me the bottles cages are ugly, you have a lot of options, Carbonworks , Tune , although I think with this paint the King cage ti could be perfect.

Some nice black carbon cages and a cannondale spider ring setup would be perfect! Great looking bike!

Thanks for the kind words.

* I think the cages will be Arundel matt black like my other bikes.
* Handlebar and setapost will be Deda Superzero 2017 with the better logo's ( like on the Holdsworth. )
* Chainrings will be Stronglight CT2, good shifting performance for a reasonable price.... It will be my ride to work also.

Have the same frame in slightly different setup. Its paintjob really stands out among other SS Evos.

I actually really like the shape of those handlebars, I know you can get classic bend bars quite easily, but i didn't know Cannondale made their own. Refreshing to see a different paint scheme than usual

I use the cannondale C2 42 cc handlebar now.

And Update :

* Replaced the Cannondale C2. Weight saving 16 grams
* Replaced the original Cannondale Bottle cages with two Arundel Matt black cages. Weight saving around 45 grams.

Ordered :

* Riesel Design Japan topcap and Carbon - Ti expander - Weigth saving around 40 grams.

To Do :

* Seatpost Deda Superleggera 27.2
* Deda Superzero Matt handlebar with red Superzero logo 42cm outer-outer
* New chainring spider I guess - 10 arm or 8 arm spider.

Bought a pair of Zipp 202 Firecrest clinchers for the windy days. Weight is now 6.6 - 6.7Kg complete with pedals and bottle cages.

And finally a picture with the Zipp 202 Clincher wheels ( - 420 gr/Zipp 404 with Conti Race light innertubes ) and shortened rear brake cable. Did some climbing last year in France with this bike and it was good. Here in The Netherlands I ride whem with the 202's when it's windy like yesterday Bf6. The bike is also fairly light with ± 6.6 Kg, and rides fine.

Thinking of selling my Cannondale Supersix and go for a gravel/disc brake bike for winter period and commute rides also. Planning of selling it with the Zipp 404's or otherwise with a pair of FFWD F3R tublar tire wheels. What would this nice bike be worth ? because I have no idea right now :? .

Frame is in overall good condition - so is the groupset. Wheels are from 2018 - only things that are changed : Crank is now a almost brand new ( no marks Cannondale SL ) and a Fizik Arione saddle braided one. With the FFWD Wheels the bike is around 6.4Kg - With the Zipp 404 it's around 6.8Kg depends on cassette and tires.
