Greetings WW!
This was a fun project I put together with the goal of a lightweight build with as much titanium as possible. As pictured, the full build comes in at 6.94kg, just under my 7kg target. I am sure I could get it down further with some carbon wheels and a lighter FD, but overall I am happy with how it turned out. Thanks for looking, happy to be here!
Build details include:
60cm Clark Kent Titanium frameset
Hylix carbon fork (320g)
King headset
Cinelli Grammo threadless stem, Easton EC90 bars w/ SuparCaz wrap
Moots seatpost with Flite Ti saddle
Gutted Sram Rival carbon levers
Grafton crankset with Stronglight Zircal rings
White Industries Ti Bottom Bracket
Modolo Carbon DT Shifters
Omfega Carbon RD
Campagnolo Record FD
Americal Classic Sprint 350 Wheelset
Full Titanium drilled 8s cassette

It rides well, a bit flexy compared to modern Ti, but fun nonetheless.
Thanks, I can't remember how my 1995 Lemond RS300 CK Ti frame rode.thelorax121 wrote:It rides well, a bit flexy compared to modern Ti, but fun nonetheless.
It is still in my store room inbuilt after an accident in 1996.

If you ever want to sell those Grafton cranks, I’m keen depending on length. Just sayin’.
Oh no, I might have to replace my cannondale with an epic 90's/00's build with lots of Ti, purple anodising, alloy tubulars, and CNC'd parts now .
OP, do you have a weight list? Especially interested in the weights of the Topline/Grafton cranks, Modolo shifters, and the rear derailleur.

They are 175mm arms, and they are for sale, but I don't have the post count necessary to access the classifieds yet. Feel free to PM me if you are interested. Cheers!RichTheRoadie wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2019 12:57 pmIf you ever want to sell those Grafton cranks, I’m keen depending on length. Just sayin’.
