Haha... Screwdrivers were thrown in size order, regardless, they are a cheapo set from B&Q, soon to be replaced by some lovely PBSwiss items.

Seatpost cracked when the clamp pushes against it, on the front profile (closest to bars).

I'm 84kg but hardly do CX on the bike. Pretty sh*t but Cervelo are normally pretty good with things like this.

I remember the same happening to me with a S3. All resolved now? I'm looking at getting one of these and yours looks fab.

New seatpost has been perfect and bike is silent, exactly how I like it.

Hit a pothole on Saturday around 40kph that should have snapped my wheels / bike / face in half.

After stopping, inspecting my bike and making sure I hadn’t defecated myself, I was amazed that the wheels were still true and bike had just shook it off. Fair play Cervelo!

Did the Qarbon rings require any modification to fit the Quarq Dzero? Thanks

Few more mods inbound, but the bike won't change much now. It's porky but carries it well.

Yes they did. Nothing 5 mins with a Dremel couldn't fix.

Down to 7.39kg now. Swapped the tyres out for some 25c Corsa Speed TLR 2.0s.

They came in at 233g and 238g.

DA 11-25T has now got it down to 7.25kg.

Literally nothing else I can upgrade now without comprimising the aero efficiencies of the bike.

It's 7.2kg exactly with my Speedplays but prefer Looks for sprinting.

Love this build, the bike looks like an absolute beast. So aesthetically pleasing IMO.

Do you have any pics / a thread / build list for your 2016 S5. I picked one up last year and would love to see what spec you built it up to!

Thanks in advance

Hello,

Can i ask how long you are in cm? Im doubting what size i can get best. Im looking at the Cervelo S5 sunweb edition.

Im 1.80 m long. Having my saddle on my current bike on about 76.5 cm center BB to top saddle.

Im now on a Sensa Giulia Evo Disc 55 cm frame.

Im also doubting between the S3 and the S5. S5 is looking beter.

Greetings:
Arwin Lubbers

I'm 183cm and also have saddle at 765mm.

Sold this bike last week to a guy in my club. Did a TTT today with him in my group and was pining for it badly. Looks amazing from behind, especially with Enve 65s on it.
