Yeah, it was just a gentle spin as well......its the first time I have used them, but deffo not the last.... you can tell that there is minor friction as they are new and will have some grease in there, but they will only get better!!

The paintscheme looks fantastic!
It actually made me consider rim brakes when I was looking for a new bike last fall. Ended up with a black SL6 Disc, but I still get exicted everytime I see a pink-camo SL6 on instagram.

Points to mention…..

1. Saddle height will most likely be lowered 5-10mm (following road test)
2. Stem stack could possibly be reduced 10mm but see next point ….
3. I was initially unsure of the stem choice – however now fitted and with the UD stem top cap and spacer, I think it fits well. To my eye the UD stem spacers tie in with the UD seat post and the stem ties in with the weave on the Saddle, crank and rear mech…..
4. 6.35Kg as pictured...

The B&W pic at the start really helps to appreciate the colour that follows. I wasn't sure when I saw the frame pics on page 1, but this is really growing on me.

Yeah, I am really pleased with how it has turned out..... The frame does really 'pop' and the paint is stunning.... you cant see it on the images, but there is also a metallic clearcoat over the lot as well, which looks great in the Sun - Bring on the Sun !!

Not much of a tarmac fan usually but this bike looks great, congrats!

If I had to be really picky, the only thing you could improve is the raceware mount. They just look a bit.......I dunno. Something CNC and anodised would look great!

How are you finding the saddle? I'm looking at gettig a new one and the Leaf is on the short list.

Yeah I know what you mean about the Racewear mount, the black does turn to grey over time... But it does the job....

Really like the Leaf, so much so that I have one on all 4 of my bikes, it seems to give the right amount of flex to be comfy whilst also giving good road feel, you dont need padding, thats what your chamois is for BUT saddles are a very personal thing, so worth seeing if you can pick one up to try out first.... The Berk offerings also seem to be popular now..... Sadly it won't be possible to lose the 20mm top cap.., I would rather it looked like this, than a 61 frame with short slammed stem....
