... I have had too many black bikes so this time a bit of colour - my new 2019 project - The 'Gay' Tarmac :D ...
Well it's not that rare that overdoing in one direction has for a consequence overdoing in opposite of that :D

..... Sadly it won't be possible to lose the 20mm top cap.., I would rather it looked like this, than a 61 frame with short slammed stem....
Funny, I have ditched bikes in the past solely due to needing more than a 5mm spacer, but looking at yours it seems to be working really well. Overall a great looking and really colorful build you have made, even if my personal taste would be more the b/w camo look a few posts ago.... 8)

Quick update.... New Wheels....

I actually 'borrowed' the wheels from another bike... It now has its own wheels - Meilenstein Schwarz 24s and has brought the weight down to bang on 6KG!! Now I must start to ride it and stop looking and taking photos of it :D !!!

Cheers Lig.

Are those the wheels with the so-called improved braketrack?
Can you comment on that?

Hi Bruno,

LW do claim that 'The rim width has been widened, durability and braking performance were raised to a new level'

But the brake track does look just the same as my 20mm wheels. I haven't done any miles yet but will update you after a couple of rides...

Cheers,
Lig.

Did you do the refinishing work on the rear derailleur? I like the debadged look; surprised ir doesn't extend to the brake levers as well.

Thanks Coreyaugustus...

Yeah, I sanded off the logo a good few years ago.... These levers are newer and I just never got round to sanding those.... maybe a job for the weekend, that would shed a few grams :D ....

Cheers,
Lig.

Out of curiousity, seeing you are UK based, where did you get the Claviculas from?

Hi Broady, I actually got them from R2bike in Germany. They were the cheapest by far at the time...

Cheers,
Lig.
