Specced and built this up for a friend this week.

First time building an SL6 and installing 9170 (don't get me started on the brake line olives...).

Really happy with how it turned out, yet still waiting on a few parts. However, it's going over to Calpe this weekend so I had to build with a few heavier components for now.

Came in at 7,051g on the scales which is 21g lighter than the spreadsheet. I put this down to not measuring the brake fluid...

With the incoming parts, we're looking to drop a further 136g which will put the bike at 6,915g.

Not bad for a full build (pedals, cages and Garmin mount), with "heavy" Enves, aero bars, fatty Conti tubeless tyres and a 30T cassette.

Damn, those Enve's are porky for their profile. Unless they came off a previous build, why not Rovals? Would have saved an awful lot of weight.

Anyway, a very good job. I doubt there's many disc bikes out there that could match how aero and yet "lightweight" this is.

This was a full custom build and the owner loves his Enve's, so went with 3.4s on CK45 Ceramics.

Agreed they're pretty heavy. We did discuss the AX Lightness Ultra Disc 28/45C TLR combo, which at 1,265g would have saved us 222g.

Always nice to know there's room for improvement ;)

Had this in last week for a service and quick check to make sure all was well.

Made a few upgrades that I've forgot to update:

CeramicSpeed coated BB30 bearings
Extralite HyperStem Stealth 110mm / 6º - 74.9g exc. faceplate
Extralite CH-01 computer mount - 21.0g inc. faceplate (95.9g for stem & mount)
Berk Lupina 132mm padded - 103g
CarbonWorks bottle cages x2 - 8.7g each

Bike now weighs 6.76kg with everything ready to ride (cages, pedals, mount etc).
