Great bike! I Love it!
Actually, I’m waiting a very big promotion soon and this could be a nice present for me!
My only concern is about the longevity of this seatpost clamp and the effects on the frame.
I love that looks minimal without being integrated inside the frame.
One downside is tightening 2 bolts which is trickier than tightening 1 (ok there are torque wrenches but still)
But my biggest concern is where are those (titanium?) bots fit?!
Are those 2 bolts tightened in the raw carbon or there is a metallic insert?

The seatpost seems sturdy enough. Truth is that in their new Alpe d'Huez disc they updated the saddle clamp by removing the rod and redesigning the base of the clamp (see Time's instagram).

The seatpost clamp works like this:
Two ti bolts (without heads) come out of the horizontal top tube.

You enter the seatpost in the seat tube and then you attach the cap and you fix the bolt heads.

Their stem clamp works the same way so it is something they are doing for many years.

These look amazing in person too, there’s a really symmetry to the frame design. Well played!

Thanks for the info kgt!
I’m glad to see that you didn’t pick the aktiv fork..! I find it too bulky.
I suppose you sold you Scylon?

The aktiv technology is very clever as it eliminates vibrations without using suspensions, elastomers etc. that degrade over time and compromise the frame's balance. I did not go for it because I prefer the lighter, more minimal 'classic' fork.
Yes, I sold the Scylon othereise I could not afford a new frame.

I agree with you for the aesthetics. Plus I’m still feeling strong enough to ride without it.
Ride on!

I have to say that riding with active changes the felling on road especially in curves! If you don’t mind about the extra weight it is a big + !

@kgt great looking bike, congrats on the purchase, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. No offence, but your comments overflow with koolaid. To each their own, I guess.
