Isaac needs to stop giving out incorrect information. The newer, wider Boras with Shimano freehubs have never shipped out with steel freehubs.

Right. None ever shipped with steel freehub bodies - except for the ones that did.

OP, sorry the weight savings for you wasn't what I thought it would be!

I’m still very happy with them! Nearly 100g is not to be sneezed at...

Update on the shifting - it's now shifting very well with the Red cassette, the underlying problem was a stiff upper pivot on my rear mech.

The shifting had been a bit off with the Record cassette and fitting the Red cassette had exercerbated it. But now I've fixed the derailleur pivot issue it's absolutely fine.

So my conclusion is that the Red cassette works very well with a Campagnolo drive train, but there's perhaps just a tiny bit less slack to compensate for poor setup or other issues.

Seriously, that green is fire. A welcome change from the common black and bare carbon.

How did you diagnose the rear mech issue and what solved it, a little lubing?

Diagnosed and solved by swapping it for a new one I’m afraid.. :D

The top pivot assembly had two unrelated problems - a seized mechanism and a stripped bolt on the inside (ny fault). “Service centre only” parts unfortunately, and I got a good price on a new HO mech.

Sometimes that's the easiest way, unortunately not the cheapest. Enjoy the ride!

How long did it take for your Pureline frame to arrive after ordering?

Trying to remember now... I think they might have said that it could take 6 weeks (or more?) but in the end it was less than that - maybe about 4 weeks?

I think it just depends on whether they have frames available in the right size when you order, how busy they are, etc..
