That's quite the 'winter bike' you have there.. I wouldn't mind having that as my n-1 bike. Very sensible build and I absolutely love the Cervelo fluro paint jobs.

Thank You.
First ride this morning.
11years on Cervelo, r3sl, r5ca, r5 and just the last 6 months on a Focus Izalco max disc.
Cervelo is just amazing...so good maniability, reactivity and confort.

What about BBright on this frame? Which bearings/cranks have you used? Have you noticed any improvement on tolerances or fit tightness compared to your past experience with Cervélo's?

I built a Rotor bottom bracket pf30 4630.
And for the crankset, a Sram Force 22 bb386.
Now for Bbright, the Sram crankset bb386 are compatible without adapter, just spacers included with the bb for the arm side and you place a specific Sram 13mm spacer on the crank side.
And the new Sram Red axs is directly compatible with Bbright, you must just choose the right Sram bottom.

Since my first Cervelo until now.
The first improvement from r3sl to r5ca was the manability.
After, from the r5ca to the r5 (2014), they improved the confort and again the maniability.
Here with the r3, I feel a better confort again.
But now, I ride with 28c tubeless...
Now I am waiting to finish to build my new r5 to compare.
If I had to compare my actual r3 with my old r3sl, which I rode again a few weeks ago, it is a totally different bike.
Better on all. And now not espacially for pro tour only.
