IMG-1769.JPG
Frame size 52 include PF30 Bottom Bracket
IMG-1772.JPG
Extralite expander + absolute black top cap, save about 6g of the original si, extralite expander is little bit hard to install, i had to move rubber seal into the middle of expander and it works.
IMG-1773.JPG
Dura ace 9000 FD with farnear bolt
IMG-1789.JPG
XG1190 cassette 11-28, i had to remove the seal to save about 6g

hereis trickiest part. i really want to use PF30 BB couple it with my Easton crank which original have 129mm spindle. to make it works i had to bought 104mm spinde and make some spacer using carbon steerer spacer.
IMG-1805.JPG
i cut the seatpost to my size + 10cm minimum insert

nice bike!
where you get your wheelset? 50mm profile with below 1.5kg is awesome.

Nice build.

Seatpost clamp you can save a little. Worked great on my 2015 Evo hm. 9g.

Feels like it would be worth the weight penalty to have the yaw FD. You could definitely save a bunch on the skewers some Ti bolt ons from eBay are my go to. Super clean , cheap and < 30g

I bought it on aliexpress it cost less than $500 (excl tax) about 2 years ago. it has 20.5mm width and fit perfect with my 20mm tires.

But now they even sell lighter wheels, weight less than 1.1kg for 50mm profile

The main reason i use DA front derailleur is due to my oval chainring. based on some forums Red FD doesnt shift well with oval chainring, they tend to over shift cause chain drop to the crank.

until now DA front derailleur shift well with my oval chainring, just rub issues if i use cross chainring configuration.

but if changing bolt can save Red FD by 30g, i tempted to using Red FD

The original headset dust cap spacer weight 15g for 15mm height, then i remember i have a spare 10 mm dust cap weight 10g and a 10mm carbon spacer weight 3g. Saving 2 gram sounds good. when i install the spare dust cap there is a gap to frame, i have to sand the dust cap until no gap and reduce carbon spacer height to 5mm. it turn out the dust cap and carbon spacer now only weight 9g.
IMG-1855.JPG
ive purchase rockbross garmin mount, weight half barfly, only 22g but i doubt its rigidity

How's shifting without rubber bands? Was loudness the only thing affected?
