Well, ordered a new shim, USE thermoplastic supposedly weighs 21 grams. Saving a little bit there. 19 grams less with the change.

Thinking of buying a Mt Zoom seat collar that weighs 6 grams. Would save 8 grams there. Little by little adds up

Most of the parts have been coming under estimated weight. Except tires by 8 and 6 grams more! Which is not a problem.

I ordered 31.8 x 750mm. Bar also came under estimated 119 weight.

@chrisMTB you inspired me to get a Rocket Ron LightSkin, hopefully it will seal with Orange.

I mounted the tires yesterday to the stock wheels while we build the new wheelset without any problems. No leaks and still holding pressure. I’ve ran liteskin Racing Ralph’s in the past with good luck, training and even raced a 100kms endurance

Updated weights on the top page. Shooting now for 9.2kg.

If cassette is replaced with an XX1 and fork. It’s going to be around 8.8-8.9kg. Cassette and fork are going to be left for the future as a last upgrade. I would need to get a new body hub for the Rotor Rvolver rear hub because now it’s for shimano.

Great work. You've given me a few ideas!

On your weight listing you are missing cables? Also, is the weight of the saddle (125g) correct?

Woop! Forgot to list alligator mini i-links, stem cap and bolt, carbon headset spacers, steerer starnut, ti rotor bolts and brakeset ti hardware.

Changed the saddle for a chinese one. EC90 Power, it looks similar to the spez power. Full carbon and leather on top. Let's see if it's comfy.

What are you thinking of doing? Any new builds or upgrading? I'm always up to see other projects. Let us know what you got in mind! 8)

I'm on a 2019 Scalpel Hi Mod Carbon 1 - https://www.cannondale.com/en/USA/Bike/ ... adf8d60ca7

10.48kg - changes from stock
- Maxxis Ikon 2.2 TR 3C Exo - heavier than stock but work better for me (I don't have good luck with air staying in Schwalbe)
- Ritchey WCS grips - lighter, have been using for years and suit my hands
- Tune Speedneedle - lighter, and actually comfortable for me
- XTR M9100 pedals - because you need pedals to ride the bike
- XX1 Quarq powermeter - heavier, but you gotta know your watts

Ideally I'd change
- seatpost to KCNC Ti Pro Lite
- stem to kalloy ultralite
- handlbar to mt zoom
- wheelset to nextie ultralight

$1500 to save 500 grams.

But I probably won't. Just had my first kid, would prefer to spend my time riding the bike than wrenching. I'll just live vicariously through you :-)
