I think mine was about 20g over the claimed weight (size 53). A bit unortodox place to say this, but I don't really care:)

Yes, it's a little annoying to miss estimated figures - but it adds to the Italian authenticity
That's only +2% for the bare frame though. And painted is still painted, whether matte or gloss. So long as it rides as well as they say - I don't think I'll give a hoot. Plus, the fit and finish so far is much better than the 3 Colnagos I've owned.

It rides great. My assessment after a year or so - it is supercomfortable, and it seems to be made for out of the saddle climbing.
Very nice. I've just built a 59 with inverse colours from yours, and with little considerations for weight (flog me):
Record 2x12, Syntace Hiflex post and F109 120 mm stem, a rather porky but stiff FSA aluminium bar, double bar tape, Elite Ciussi Inox cages, Selle SMP Composit Crb saddle, and 2wf Shamals with Schwalbe Pro One 25 mm, and Look Kéo Blade Carbon pedals.
6.8 kg with speed and cadence sensors. That's all right I think for a bike that shall both hammer the gravel roads at home and bomb down the south side of Col de l'Iseran.
Keep it coming.

I'm normally opposed to any bar tape that isn't black - white is acceptable in certain circumstances - but this doesn't look too loud/tacky. Who makes it? Don't suppose you weighed it?PokojniToza wrote: ↑Thu Jan 10, 2019 8:02 pmI may recommend this tape. Very nice feel to it and matches the frame perfectly (IMO)
Wheels will be my FSE 35 laced to Carbon-Ti. They've quickly become one of my favorite wheels.

Hm, I believe the name was Bianchi Drops. You can try and google some info about it. Unfortunately, I did not weigh it.

I hope Binachi comes out with DM brakes for the next Specialissima. But I suspect they will skip it and go straight for disk brakes
