Gaulzetti Aerotack

The story of this bike started when I sold my F8 to "upgrade" to an F10. I had the F8 since it came out and loved everything about it. The F10 was a bitter disapointement, did not like it nearly as much but I had sold my F8 frame.... Since then I found an F8 (59.5 are not easy to come by) so I replaced the F10 back with the F8 but in the meantime (it took a few month) I had also ordered an Aerotack from Craig (after testing it) and I ended up with this guy. I was hoping the Aerotack would be as good as the F8 and after 4 or 5 rides I think it really is. Handles great, feels very fast and is ultra smooth. I have Bora 50 on the F8 and the new LW Meilenstein 24 on this one so wheels play a role as well and the Meilenstein are a very nice improvement compared to my old G3. Braking in the dry is as good as the Bora. Anyway as usual I end up with too many bikes but this one is a keeper.
The Record 11 EPS is temporary and will be switched to EPS 12 asap
Oh yeah, I did not weight the thing but the painted frame was 1020g in my big size. It is a custom geo built tube to tube in Italy and has a threaded BB.

It's been designed for electronic only. Everything is routed thru the left of the TT. I will snap a picture later. Looks very clean without the mecanical holes too.

Very cool paint job. Pretty interesting bike purchasing journey to boot. Had never heard of the brand before you shared. Thanks!
What a cool bike. Never heard of this brand before seeing it here. Been browsing their website and love their paint schemes.
Bianchi Oltre XR4, De Rosa SK Pininfarina, Trek Madone SLR, Giant TCR Advanced SL, Cervelo R5 Disk, Giant Revolt
Craig Gaulzetti made bespoke aluminum frames that were pretty sought after, at least in the northeastern U.S.
Looks like he's turned it into more of a Ritte type of operation now.

Haha nope, not even close to Ritte. The Gaulzetti carbon frames (and the alloy and steel ones as well) are handmade in Italy. The Aerotack is tube to tube custom.

I spy a nice looking Festka there hiding in the background!!
It does sound like they do some bikes as custom - but seems like a lot of them are stock carbon frames: http://gaulzetti.co/aerotackspecs. Custom paint is a nice touch though.dudemanppl wrote: ↑Mon Dec 17, 2018 5:59 amHaha nope, not even close to Ritte.
