I've been a long-time lurker on this forum, but only recently joined as a member. I saw there had been some love for Field Cycles, so I thought I'd share my Field Cycles disc road.

Whilst this is by absolutely no means a 'weight weenie' build, it is an incredible frameset and takes me all around the mountains of Japan (myself and fellow Brit/Field owner @leicaman on occasion make it out to the mountains together). I had this built a couple of years back after having lost my previous Cannondale to a traffic accident.

(Rough) build list:

FRAME - Field Cycles disc road (#044FF)
FORK - Enve 2.0 disc road
HEADSET - Chris King i7
STEM - Enve road stem
BARS - Easton E100 (Rapha Brevet bar tape)
COMPUTER MOUNT - Enve
GROUPSET/BRAKES - SRAM eTap HRD with Quarq D-Zero power meter
SADDLE - Brooks C13 Cambium
WHEELS - Chris King R45 6-bolt laced to LightBicycle 35mm x 25mm rims (Sapim CX Ray spokes)
TIRES - Vittoria Corsa G+ 700 x 25c
SKEWERS - DT Swiss RWS
BOTTLE CAGES - King Cage titanium

I kind of do and don't care but, what's the weight of this in that spec.

Beautiful bike.

Thank you.

Again (as I think you’re saying), the weight isn’t the main point of this bike, but it’s around 9kg.

That's some of the best paintwork I've seen on the forum

Thanks very much for the comments, all!

As to the paint, it was the result of a pretty long consultation with Field’s in-house designer (a very talented lad named Tom), who went into detail about things I like outside of cycling during our chats. It’s all then rounded off by Field’s painter, John (AKA Cromaworks).

Ordering through Field is a truly great experience (and the final product is incredible to look at and ride).
