Well, shimano lasted only 6 months on my C64. Treated her with a new Record 12s. After years of shimano i’m still in the shock phase with the levers, campag virgin here. As most of you veterans know they’re very clunky and requires a lot more muscular job from fingers. No maiden ride yet,flu is killing me. Not a featherweight bike, 54s with pedals, cages and garmin support comes at 7.2kgs.
Needles to say the group matches the frame like no other group does..

I don’t think clunky would be the best description...

Not really a fan of weird spokes ratio of rear wheels for those..

There's nothing wrong with Shimano on a Colnago, but I can't say I was a fan of the Ultegra originally, looked too utilitarian.

Now, this is wow!

edit: missed a crucial word.

Looks much better with the Campagnolo. Let us know how you like the 12 speed once you're healthy again

Bike is for sale,if anyone is interested feel free to contact me. The groupset has ridden maybe 500kms since the topic was started, bike was bought new in march 2018 and stored until september 2018 due to work reasons, until riding resumed in september. Needless to say it's showroom like new.
Back in december a close call with a high speeding car that ultimately veered and crashed off road to avoid me left me psychologically shocked, especially since I have a 3 years old boy at home that loves to wrestle with his daddy. Road riding has progressively lost its fun and rides became very rare until a total stop in march. Need to make funds for a gravel bike

I leave you my direct email since I don't check this board very often and looks I'm still not able to reply mp's, I hope this does not violate any rule : mytravelstuff73@gmail.com
