what are your thoughts on the rotor with ceramic coatings?
which brakepads do you use with them?
It's made by Bracko in Taiwan.
they call it a 'MOA' finish, works only with non-metal pads.
According to their catalog rotor with carbon carrier 140-45g and 160-68gr.
The rotor with an alloy carrier are only 4gr heavier.

What was the outcome of your isospeed problem? thanks.joren wrote: ↑Wed Jan 09, 2019 9:10 pmDamn , the frames are not so good as they look like .xadubo33 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 09, 2019 5:25 pmSince a paint defect appeared on my frame, Trek changed it to Sav. So they sent me a new kit frame with one of the new ICON paintings as compensation. Really very cool.
So I will be able to continue my "optimization" weight in order to reach 7 kg.
Photos coming soon.
The change of the wheels axes by "Extralite" should allow to gain 50grs, replacing all the screws with titanium or aluminium, 25grs more.
I also replace the holder-can/ battery by the identical cut in a carbon plate, gain 40grs so a total exported from 115grs.
Knowing that there were 260grs too much of the only solution to get to the advertised weight, carbon wheels tubular.
I'm having big problems with the seattube/isospeed .
There is so mutch play/flex in the seattube that riding is dangerous .
I secured the bold's to 8nm but it didn't help
I need to send the bike back to trek so they can see and maybe fix the problem .
My 2019 SLR frameset with the added cockpit came with nothing extra. No seatpost, no light or Garmin mounts. My XXX-6 wheels shockingly came with tubeless and conventional rim tape and valve stems.

Wow! Thanks for confirming. I consider myself lucky I’m getting the seatpost then.
Your dealer is the one who threw in the seatpost, not Trek. I'm not complaining since my dealer gave me a 20% discount on the frame which is more than the cost of the seatpost.Makinshaw wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 6:46 amWow! Thanks for confirming. Don't worry you will still have to pay for it. It will just be part of the package like it should be. Stem and bars should be included too as they are proprietary.
BMC does it the right way, other than including the seat.

This is false. Framesets require the rider to purchase their own seatmast that works for their fit best (not everyone uses the same).
