Finally finshied the bike last night and will do a 45 mile new years day ride by the coast to get a feel for it. As for the weight, its 7.2KG's with the following.

Size 52CM 7.2KG
Dura Ace 9150 di2, 52-36, 11-28, (bar end junction box)
Bontrager XXX 6 wheels set up with Conti GP 5000 tires with lightweight tubes
Madone specific two piece cockpit, 400mm bar, 90mm stem
Speedplay Zero Titanium pedals
Bontrager XXX carbon saddle
Tune bottle cages
Supcaz bartape

I'll add nicer pics later this week.
Astonishing bike! I'm almost done building mine, not a trek, but trying to go WW on it. What are those "lightweight tubes"? Supersonics? How have they been holding up?
Thanks! The tubes are Conti "light" which weight in the low 70 grams range. I use them on three of my four road bikes with very minimal punctures.

Very nice, but can you please start your own thread, so we can talk about it and ask questions? We don't want to hijack someone else's post.

To me, this bike is a big improvement over my buddies 2018 Madone 9. It handles better, feels even more comfortable, with the biggest improvement coming with the new brake calipers. The braking is simply outstanding with the XXX wheels. The seatpost was $275 while the stem/bar combo around $750. I got a 20% discount for those two components (cockpit & seatpost) with another 10% off the frame from my local dealer.

That is probably the best looking new Madone I have seen. I ride a 2018 Madone and like it very much but no doubt the new model is even better.

I am curious to hear your comparison between this and your Bianchi Oltre XR4. This Italian has been calling my name but I keep wondering if I would be dissapointed in the way it rides.

Honestly both are brilliant bikes. But if I had to choose one it would be the Oltre.

Liveliness Madone 7.5 Oltre XR4 9.5
Climbing Madone 7.5 Oltre XR4 9

That is exactly the feedback I was looking for. Maybe a Celeste machine is in my future :beerchug:

Added Bontrager Speed Concept tri-bars, 5mm setback seatpost, Bontrager Aeolus Pro saddle, and Enve 7.8 clinchers for TT and Triathlons. In 10 minutes the bike can revert back to the original 25mm setback seatpost with xxx saddle, removal of tri bars, and swapping the Enve's back to xxx 6's.

Is there enough tire clearance to fit 28mm GP5000s?
