Just picked up my 2019 Trek Madone SLR frameset, size 52cm, Rage Red. The bike will be built with the dedicated Madone two piece cockpit, seatpost with 25mm offset, and Bontrager XXX 6 wheels. Drivetrain will be Dura Ace Di2 9150. I'll post weight of the fork, and frame sometime next week.
Frame 52cm with cable routing, rear derailleur hanger, tape, etc.. 1185 grams
Fork uncut 443 grams
400mm bar with 100mm stem combined weight is 481 grams
Berk saddle is 79 grams
Bontrager XXX-6 wheels without bar tap are 1530 grams

This madone and the Oltre XR4 are the sexiest aero bikes without question. Cant wait to see the final build.
Beautiful bike. You can knock 80g off the weight by switching to the Zipp aero skewers (if you don’t mind the mismatch).

I'll be very happy if I can keep the bike weight into the mid 15-lbs range.

That should be feasible, especially given the size of the frame. For reference, my Madone 9 is around 7.5kg, but it’s a 60cm H2 (600 series carbon), so I don’t see any reason you can’t hit your target weight.

I totally lucked out on the color! The lowest priced color just happens to be my absolute favorite. BTW my dealer screwed up and left the invoice from Trek inside the frameset box. Let's just say there is a healthy mark-up on the frame.

Those two photos of the frame - wow, I'm feeling strangely tingly just looking at them...if that were mine and I had a wallet they'd be in their replacing photos of my kids

Let me guess, less than £2k? This color must be even more amazing in person, I´ve been seriously thinking about SLR in Viper Red(love the huge lettering on the downtube)...
That looks fantastic. It will be a “reference” build for sure. Also, maybe it’s the the smaller logos, or just the photo, but that downtube looks a lot sleeker and less heavy than some of the others I’ve seen. Must be an illusion I’m thinking. Whatever it is... it’s elegant and classy looking.

Boy it’s beautiful! Trek really has amazing colour schemes and that looks a really nice build I perspective. Now 500g for the bar stem even in Aero territory it’s an anchor! 230 for a Spe or Pro aero bar and 120 for a normal stem and that 140g less.
