Hi Guys,

I've been lurking a while, learning and reading and waiting for the parts to arrive for my first bike build.

Now that I have my frame and almost all components I thought I would start a thread for the build as there isnt a whole load of info on this frame.

I have uploaded some pics of the frame with customary scale shots. The frame is a 58CM and was told the frame would be 880g and the fork 300g, I thought the end product would be well over this but I was pleasantly suprised.

The final build should be around 6.5Kg, I have now added a screengrab of my build components. Comments welcome!

Kudos for R-093, I'd like to see how the build comes out. My road bike sports a R-093 fork too, lost almost 30g after cutting the steerer.

So the wheels are Yoleo's Tubular 30mm Carbon wheels with no decals and the DT Swiss 240s'
https://www.yoeleobike.com/chinese-carb ... -road.html

I have weighed them with the tyres glued on as I took them straight to the shop they are Veloflex Arenburgs, the weights are therfore:
Front: 832g
Rear: 968
So a perfectly combined weight of 1800g

Due to there only being one cable guide in the frame I was thinking of running the cables or at least some guides before i fit the BB.

Are there any downsides to this? Thank you!

Hi Guys,

Making progress, my first build so taking it steady, lots of YouTube. So far im up to 4.55Kg with the following:

- Workswell R-093 Frame & Fork - 58CM
- Spacers & Headset
- Yoleo SAT30 Tubulars
- Veloflex Arenburgs
- KCNC SC Wing Stem 120mm
- KCNC DC Force Handbar 42cm
- Planet X Brakes
- Dura Ace 9100 Shifters
- Dura Ace 9100 Rear Deraullier

Certainly room for improvement on my Headset Expander Plug thing, it weighs a bloody ton. Also dont panic, i will be cutting the fork at the end, from my measurements I may end up slaming it. Word.

Hoping to finish off tomorrow.

Finale, she's ready to go. Well... almost. I have a bike fit scheduled for Friday so once thats done i will chop the stem and possibly the seat post then fit the bar tape...

Its been great fun, I have learnt a lot and the bike has come in at 6.4Kg without bar tape so im sure it will be very close even perhaps under my estimate which is nice.

- Absolute Black ChainRings
- Titanium Gold Chainring Bolts
- KMC Chain
- Gub Seat & Garmin Mount
