Starting up a custom build with Argon 18 Dark Matter framekit.

This is what Argon 18 wanted to do with the Dark Matter:
“ When we set out to design the Dark Matter, we made sure not to come up with just another gravel bike. Our vision was to build a true gravel racer: a fast dirt road bike with a geometry adapted from our celebrated road frames. We wanted a bike offering improved stability but with a racing behavior, a bike that would feel just as fast and responsive on the trail that it would on the road. ”

The frame clears 45C tires and 40C with fenders.
Compatible with cranksets 46/30T to 52/36T or 1x46T (max).
DT Swiss type 12mm thru-axle, 100m front and 142mm back.
Flat mount disc brakes (140 or 160mm).

I will build it with Shimano Ultegra R8070 Di2 as a base.
Will use RX805 Di2 rear derailleur with 50/34T AbsolutBlack oval chainrings and a HG-800 11-34T cassette.
This will be the "normal" setup but will test 1x46T with larger cassette at the rear.

Here in Scandinavia we have a Gallium UC EDT (United Cycling Special Edition) that is built on the "old" Gallium Pro 2017 frame.
That is the road bike i will ride on 2019.

Just wondering if you have had a chance to ride this bike. I am thinking about buying one for myself, and would like to hear what your thoughts are on ride quality etc.

Just have done one ride because it is to much ice and snow for biking with out studs...
I think it felt great, quit responsive but still more comfort over rougher road surface.
I think this bike is more gravel racer than gravel bike.
