you are a snazzier stem away from perfection... that stem is just plain compaired to the rest of the bike.

Thanks! What do you suggest?

S-Works bar, stem and post all matchy-matchy.

The shoes, belt and watch band all gotta match. Don’t like bringing additional brands into the mix.

maybe it's the gloss finish.. matte would be better... MCFK.. debadged Zipp Sprint, enve aero.. something that matches better with the tube size or looks a little more aero.

I think it's over bulbous and kinda too sqaured off for the tarmac..besides the weave finish is a mismatch for the rest of the bike.. otherwise I'd rock it.

To keep the UD carbon look then maybe a Ritchey Superlogic carbon stem or Enve standard stem

superlogic c260 is a nice stem.(aero bars can be a tight fit to install because the the clamp location, but std bars are easy). I like enve overall but this bike is too nice for their run of the mill carbon stem. Aero version would be ok.

I run an Enve stem on my Tarmac and it's a pretty good match with the frame in terms of finish and size. It's a bit thick, but not like a Sprint SL, which goes well with the Tarmac's tubes.

It's a nice looking stem but I feel like their logos down the side ruin it. Like somebody with basic Microsoft word skills has done in 2 minutes and run with...

THM have changed their logo recently, latest product revisions do not have the kitschy italics all over anymore.

Ah yes cheers, just had a quick check on their website - one extreme to the other! New one you can barely make out it says THM but I much prefer it to the previous italics...

Giving in to stem shaming... Now 6900g – 40g savings with MCFK UD Stem 6° 110mm. Felt the MCFK was best suited to the overall design, tube thickness, matte... realized weight savings.

Truly perfect now. I’m tapping out now... lol
