Wassup y'all, doing another custom frame build. This time with much more knowledge on tubing selection and geometry. Should descend quite well... Details to come.

Goteeemmmmm. Proto frame first edition super rare!! Components shown were temporary for the first ride to see how much I liked it. I liked it a lot so I swapped a lot of the Izalco Max parts over (SRM, wheels, post, saddle, seatpost clamp, stem). Gonna be lacing up some new alloy wheels cause late braking and I might move the ee G4 over too, Force brakes are pretty much the worst I've tried. ~~~high 6.7kg with ee, SRM, Force 22, etc. I'll get new photos once I have all the stuff back in.

Ride report: Feels like I have a flat constantly. Feels snappy out of saddle unlike my first Ti bike, probs cause the big ass downtube. I wasn't completely fond of the handling the first ride, but once getting used to it, its sick. The Maxi is definitely slower to want to tip over, and this just goes. But at the same time it feels super planted because of the low BB. I like much.

Cool! While we're waiting - what are some of the design details?

LOL ^^

It'll look pretty much like all my other bikes except a bit more grey. ;)

Haha...was thinking more about geometry, head tube, BB, butted vs. straight tubing. I know it will look dope...

Straight 1 1/8" HT, BSA BB, nice and simple.

Head angle / trail?

And how much BB drop did you go for? I ride 175mm cranks and don't go below -75mm.

Really liking the dropped stays!

72* HTA, 45mm rake, 63mm trail (I think). 75mm drop on 165mm cranks.

Should handle great, the faster the better! You could probably go 5mm lower still with your cranks, but then you'll have to be a bit more careful when pedaling through hairpins.

The dropped seat stays is a nice touch.

Are these going into production any time soon?
