They say imitation is the best form of flattery. Inspired by munk93’s work on his Trek Madone sometime back.

Always loved these Madones...this might be a keeper.

I have never done one of these “custom” builds and thought this would be fun.

Remaining parts, groupsets, weights will follow as I figure out what else to build this baby up with.

Any suggestions/advise would be appreciated as this is a first time build.

I've spent 18 months trying to perfect mine, and you have blown mine out of the park already. Go for Campag on this will look great.

Btw which Cane Creek headset is that?

Also what is the weight of the Trek full carbon fork. Mine with alu steerer inc star nut is 360 grams.

I'd do it with a stem that is horizontal with the ground (with spacers under the stem), classic shallow drop bar, Super Record or Dura-Ace groupset.

Dure-Ace 9000 (crankset specifically) would look great on this.
