Managed to sneak in good reliable C24 climbing clinchers..a bit outdated but good robust wheels.... 1.41kg with rim tapes.... not bad for something at 700USD......

i think the zipps are the prime culprit. Anyways, changing the saddles, and swapping to C-24s with Uno cassettes and i reckon this will come down to about 6.4kg.

yeap..agreed speedplays...save a lot but nvr a fan of those sadly for me...

Think about the Look Keo Carbon TI pedals and Keo cleats.
If you make the calculation of the Speedplay cleats+pedals, you migth end up heavier.

Take the valve caps off, thats about 3g saving and they look gash
