Happy with the arrival of the cassette today but unfortunately all of the tyres are over the advertised weight of 365g...

I'll be fitting the best of the bunch at 378g each. My teammate doesn't know it yet, but they're paying a finders fee of 12g :D

Does anyone have experience selecting good inner tubes for CX?

Latex are lighter and will definitely help with the ride feel, but I don't want to puncture and I've heard they can adhere to your tyres over the course of a season. Should I stick with butyl?

Rather than posting individual photos of the parts I'll just put up the table of weights for this.

What happened to the final weight of this?

I'm going for a very similar build but with a 2x and some DT swiss wheels

Just weighed her - missing the saddle and with a garmin mount which weighs ~50g - 8.44kg. Will come out at ~8.7kg with the saddle back on but you could drop more weight with a better saddle, egg beaters and tubs. This build is perfect for me just now though.

Nice!

I think I'll be hitting the 9kg Mark then with a full hydro ultegra set up.

There are some bits which I'm thinking of getting that knock a bit the weight:

Kcnc post
Sub 200g saddle
Pro one or 5000 tl tyres

You mind posting another photo of the bike standing? Curious to see the volume of those Strada Biancas on the frame!

Also, are you able to place the rear axle closest to the frame wth those tyres on?

Congrats on the build!

does anyone have crank arm to chainstay clearance issues with these frames? I have a size 58 2019 with sram force gxp crank and sram gxp press fit bottom bracket. drive side crank arm has 12-15mm chainstay clearance, non drive side has about 2mm chainstay clearance. i havent had a chance to tae some bb shell measurements but wondering if the rear triangle could be off.

im also getting a bad tick/creak while pedaling. replaced the bottomg bracket and the chainring/spider with a direct mount wolftooth and issue still there. i have yet to swap pedals to check that.

Can’t say I’ve had any clearance issues, and I run a Stages NDS power meter on mine. Regarding the ticking, check the skewers (if you have a QR model) to make sure they’re tight, and check the headset bearings.
