Yes, I use copper paste on both.
OK, enough torturing godzuki, here's the weight with grommets and derailleur hanger:

They measure 40cm c to c at hoods and drops (no flare). I believe they were 190g actual. They're solid performers and the drop looks similar to the Pro Vibe bars I was previously using, but 35g lighter. The tops are flattened a bit which makes them nice to rest your hands on.Nixster wrote:Couple of questions on the bars please?
What's their real weight (and size)?
They're measured c-c but where, at hoods or ends? And do they flare?
Slightly surprised you're not going with something more exotic, guess you must have a reason!
Thanks...
I've never really messed with light bars since my 172g Zipps. I nearly sold a bike because of those. I thought the poor downhill handling was the bike not the bars. I've contemplated getting Schmolke Evo but always hesitated since they were always 155g or so and that wasn't worth $500. I'm still not a huge fan of the Ergonova like side profile, I prefer a rounder bend like the spesh and pro vibe.
Ryan I sort of love you

The only thing that ride is famous for these days is being a crash fest. Come out to a real ride and do NOW where we average over 30mph on the flats, 28 mph on the "race" portion over the rollers and only hit about 3 lights. How many times do you unclip again at Montrose... In the first 10 minutes?beeatnik wrote: Ryan come back to the World Famous Montrose. 8:30 is lit. World Champz, yo!
The Ti bug has hit WW hard! I love it -- this one and Godzuki's will be gems.

Frame looks great and under a kg too - outstanding!
He must have been sick and had to take Nyquil. The asian glow kicks in quickly with that one.
And hey, you never answered my text, I feel unloved.
