That chain looks a bit too short. Does it work as it should?

Could you please post pictures of the Spyre breaks from the other side? Considering this setup and want to see how it looks.

More important: How do the breaks perform?

I went to Jet Cycles today and held a red/chameleon 56 in my hands. I want one.

I currently ride a Medium Giant Defy. Would a 54 or 56 be best in the Allez? If 56, why??

Will still update it with some 50mm wheels at some point :)
Curious if you've put on those 50mm wheels.

Also curious the bb to saddle height and size stem you're using. Debating between the 58 and 56 verison of this bike. Thanks!

if it is any help, I'm 183cm and have a 56 that I'm happy about.
58 for me felt a bit too stretched out.

Just received the rims (Lightbike 46mm) and will build them after Christmas with Hope RS4 hubs/CX RAY spokes. Can't wait.

Im on a 120mm stem and saddle height is 795mm

Sorry - I don't have a picture from that side.

Breaking is good. Much better than the Avid BB7 on my gravelbike. Better adjusting options as well as just can adjust both sides of the caliber/pads.

Not totally on par with hydros but good enough for me.

Breaking is when you snap something, BRAKING is what you do to slow down.......

But if nobody tells you, how are you going to improve?

awesome bike. I’m looking to build up the same with TRP Spyre mech disc brakes.

Anyone know what size bolts are required to mount the front caliper (w 160mm adaptor plate) on the fork? As my Spyres were purchased second hand, it doesn’t come with bolts. The rear I’m sorted but the front, I’m lost - frame is yet to arrive.

Cheers,

Chris
