Wow! But the big question is, how much does that bike hanging up with the kick stand weigh?

Hey! That’s a titanium kickstand you see there.

1). That looks outstanding.
2). That's a helluva drop.
3. Why not use a Force 1X (tuned) left shifter instead of the Red eTap with redundant shifting mechanism?

@Bencolem - I already did a mechanical 1x on the Litespeed Ghisallo and wanted to do an updated wireless 1x build. I also wanted to save weight on the frame and remove the mechanical derailleur stops. I thought about using blips with gutted mechanical Red levers but there was no clean way to hide the Blip Box and after doing the math that system would have weighed more.

Silence from you for quite a while then BAM! You got a new build right away. The painted etap battery is genius! Never seen it done before and the colour looks really nice, but on the build it seems kinda 'outstanding'.

Considering this is an impromptu build, the weight is crazy good!

@Kayrehn - I wrapped the handlebars weight weenie style like you did on your Fuji. Thanks for the compliments.

So the fork, is that THM or AX Lightness? I'm not up to being able to tell the difference. Also did the frame come with a Scott fork? If so what was the weight on that? Did you consider it?

11-36 Recon cassette. Doesn't get lighter than this. Using this to see if it will work out. If it works out, I will upgrade to the titanium cassette with a slight weight penalty.

the Recon lockring is a bit heavy, do the Extralite ones fit that cassette? I just got a new one for my Kcnc ti cassette and although listed at 3.9 it came in at 3.3g

I felt that the Scott Addict Fork was too heavy. If anyone was wondering, the pre 2014 Addict forks are Ritchey WCS forks. The fork I am using in it’s place is a THM Scapula SP fork with Spinae Scapulae Fork Cover.

I still need to fly back to Japan to pick the Yonex up. It is collecting dust. Was thinking about getting Gokiso hubs to keep it Japanese but man those hubs are boat anchors.

The Extralite lockring will fit just fine and is lighter. The Tune is lighter too which I have as a spare. I wanted to try out the spray on the Recon so I will replace it with the Tune soon

Doesn’t look too bad with aero rims. Reminds me of the Cavendish Addict when he was with Columbia Highroad.

I need to get over the all black thing so that is why I need more titanium.
