@paranormi - I am going to do the same thing I did on the Felt AR. The only difference is I will use a matt finish instead of gloss finish.

The weight with Schmolke Titanium clamps and hollow titanium bolt is 253 grams for the set of Etap Brifters.

Edit: I still need to fix the deep scratches on the plastic frame. Not difficult to do.

I don't remember pink Nokons. I have a bunch of red Nokons that have faded to pink though. I loved all the PoP stuff, though I never did pick up any of the skewers.

@rlpaul - yes Nokon did produce pink some time ago in limited numbers. At about the same time Tune was producing components in pink. I like that they are pastel pink rather than hot pink. It should blend better with titanium. POP made some cool UD carbon seatposts where you can pick which color hardware (bolts and yokes) you want to use. Plus they had every color including pink. I am going a different way with the seatpost. You will see soon.

@4Ibanez - not quite. A 31.6mm Berk Combo with the Ax Lightness Sprint mould. I want the T1SL to look like it's younger sister. The Ghisallo had a Berk Selle Italia SLR mould which came in heavier at 155 grams. This one is 20 grams lighter

Both Berk combos are built a little different. The Selle Italia version has 2 support fins underneath the saddle. The Ax Lightness Sprint version has 3 support fins underneath. Also, the Ax Lightness version has a kevlar strip where the seatpost will bind to the seat collar. Just an interseting observation if anyone cared.

The saddle shell is meant to flex some but not nearly as much as a dedicated saddle with rails. So compared to a standard setup it is more unforgiving. One will definitely need a nice chamois.

Shape is also more important than padding, something that a lot of people don't realize. My Smud saddle is much smaller than any other I've owned, but the shape makes it probably my second most comfortable saddle I own.

Berk does a good job with the SLR shape, and it's a good shape for a lot of people. Don't have any experience with the AX shape though. Reminds me of a speedneedle perhaps.

Debating a similar move on my Red shifters (2012-13, so much louder graphics). How do you coat after you've sanded them, just spray?

@rlpaul - you are right the Sprint shape is very similar to Tune Speedneedle shape. They both have the rounded backside which I like. I run a Speedneedle on a Scott Scale hardtail and it is very comfortable.

@jbaillie - yes a simple clear coat can spray is all I used. Make sure you completely remove the levers before spraying. Also spray in multiple thin layers to avoid the drip. So far the purple levers are holding up fine. I think a black SRAM decal would look very cool.
