26c tires back on... another new 20m Power PR... but atleast the segment times are in the realm now.. I'll need a good quiver of wheels for this bike, but it will be fun.

I'm currently riding a 1x cx bike with 38mm gravelkings and feel your pain!
I really liked my Compass tires but once I built up a road bike I put the cross bike back to dirt mode.

Indeed... just shocked at how much slower even 30c was... 38c well I'd expect it.

I sold my Parlee Zero for this Parlee Zero XD which is actually not all that different other then tire clearance... I was going to buy a new Aero bike... so I guess I have even more reason now.. otherwise risk getting turned inside out on fast group rides.

Schwalbe ProOne's are always a bithc on Enve rims for me.... wow what a struggle. I'll be making the call if I even get a unrepairable flat on the road, I just dont see how a tube would be able to survive the tire irons getting these tires on.

Same experience here, two instances on a set of Reynolds and my wife's Belgium+. On the reynolds I had to cut them off with a rasor blade when they were toast.

The bike has changed quite a bit... hopefully will take some pics this weekend..

Obviously I have Enve 4.5AR with Schwalbe Pro-One's in 28c for road mode :

Bike is now in OFFROAD mode and I have to admit looks better like this, although weight is up a bit. Redshift stem is a tank at 300g

HED Ardennes LT are now setup with Panaracer GravelKing SK 35mm (measure 38mm) Tubeless
Gone is the Darimo seatpost - replaced with Ergon CF3 (27.2to31.6shim 350mm)
Gone is the MCFK Stem - Replaced with Redshift Shockstem (100mm/6deg)
Gone is Ultegra 8000 Crankset - Replaced with DuraAce 9100 with Absoluteblack premium rings (48/32) weightloss but not enough to make up for above3
Gone are Garmin v3 pedals - replaced with XTR9000 race

Thanks...really tempted to get some 650b and try some wider rubber.. need to measure and see if something mid 40 will fit.

Otherwise I’m pretty much going to leave this bike in this mode.

Found the narrowist portion.. rear chainstays @ 50.17mm.. so I figure I can run something that measure 44-45mm. Between the forks I have 56mm

picked up some easton ea70ax 650b wheels...wrapped them with Donnelly MSO Xplor in 42 (measured 43 on 24mm wide internals) Plenty of clearance . really tempted to try WTB Byways in 47.. probably the max I can go in the rear.
