Love this frameset. Saw a gold V1-R and this color looks awesome. Can’t wait to see the final build

Bringing the frame weight down to a very respectable 672g. I'd be happy with that.
Great colour by the way.

KC,

769g is without the headset bearings and cups, without the bb cups and hanger in the low 700g.

@Nismosr: does the V2-R not come with Headset cups/pressed in bearings already installed into the headtube? Or is it just a molded carbon race in top and bottom of the headtube now, where slipfit bearings just drop in like most frames these days?
Would you mind taking a pic of the inside edges of the top of the headtube. If it does use pressed in cups/bearings and you just haven’t installed them yet, I’m curious if there are alloy sleeves in the upper/lower part of the headtube, of if it’s just carbon and the cups press in directly.

Cal,

looks like the guy from the Taiwan Factory forgot to press the headset on the frameset, Maris is sending me the bearings it's a press in bearings.

Ok, that makes sense then. So it looks like there’s still alloy sleeves at either end of the headtube as well then. Thx.
