...and my experiment with disc is over. It's up on ebay right now. A Romato disc frameset just went for $4K and ebay just offered me 8% back if I list items now, so that'd put me well ahead. After another noise filled ride today, I'm done with disc...not...worth...it...

It's possible H11 runs its pads closer and it's more prone to noise but I've spent more time truing, centering and just generally dicking with disc over the three weeks of owning this that I just want to go out and ride a bike, noise free, even if the braking is slightly diminished.
dont read too much into that Ramato on ebay.. it's been sold and relisted a few times... finicky or fishy goings on. :noidea:

Ah, c'mon - don't be annoyed by all of the adjustments you had to make to ride your bike! Just check and adjust a FEW more things and you'll be able to continue being the vegan of the cycling community!

I think you sold your Litspeed. Where are you in regards to your custom Ti build? Have you chose a builder yet?

I have a mechanical actuated disk brake on my tandem. It makes zero noise as I can set the pad to disk distance as I please. I know the level feel sucks compared to hydraulic disk but there's something to be said about a mechanical disk's simplicity and easy of maintenace. I don't have a lack of power issue as the disk is 254mm in diameter, lol.
