Looks bad……sorry about your experience, the new ride is fantastic!nichob11 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 05, 2018 1:06 pmIt's a bit of long story but this was the catalyst.pritchet74 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 04, 2018 3:45 pmThe Cervelo looks great! The wheels and SRM look perfect for that frame!
But I want to know what the Colnago problems were....
the rest boils down to poor customer service from LBS/importer and Colnago. For me that brand is dead and i feel sorry for those who fall for their trap. Im one to appreciate heritage when it adds up to something that truly differentiate a brand from another.
I could go on but i'll leave it at that.
Thanks mate. It's all good, there was a silver lining to it.rexyi1990 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 05, 2018 2:09 pmLooks bad……sorry about your experience, the new ride is fantastic!nichob11 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 05, 2018 1:06 pmIt's a bit of long story but this was the catalyst.pritchet74 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 04, 2018 3:45 pmThe Cervelo looks great! I love, and somewhat amazed, at how apologetic people are for Colnago's failings.
At first I thought I misclicked on the thread and was looking at a berserker green C-dale... although it's a brighter green than berserk green.
I like it! Always thought Cervelo's are pretty, but that color really stands out over the typical red, black, or white Cervelo everybody else seems to buy.

Thanks. It has a very striking appeal out and about. And when the sun hits... it could almost be their top tier frame, it looks that good.rlpaul wrote: ↑Fri Aug 10, 2018 1:22 amAt first I thought I misclicked on the thread and was looking at a berserker green C-dale... although it's a brighter green than berserk green.

Of course i'm biased.

I too have a shit experience with Colnago. Ordered a Master Frame in PR82, when it came the paint job was sloppy at best. Over sprays and dirt under the clear coat, precisa fork already rusting inside. Unacceptable for charging such a premium and so called "Made in Italy".
My Allez Comp 2015 and Ritchey Road Logic has no such issues and its a mass produced frame for the far east. Yeah the logic has some known clear coat issues, but Ritchey will replace them for you no questions asked.
I got the frame from Mike Maestro, sadly my dealings with him is less than satisfactory contrary to people's review on forums. He promised to refund me the return shipping and duty fee which he never did. I had to end up filling a chargeback via my credit card to get my money back after almost a month of no further contact after returning the frame.
I ended up getting a Tarmac Sl6
I was considering a Cervelo R5 too, but decided on going with the Tarmac.
