Hi guys and gals!

After having been away from biking for a few years, I took it up again a few months back.

But since my (now older and stiffer) body is no longer willing to ride my pimped out 6,5 kg Canyon Team Unibet Pro with Lighweights (weight for an XL frame with power meter and pedals :) ), I decided to sell it and just ordered a Giant Defy Advanced Pro 0 Disc with Di2.

Now this is obvisously going to be a lot heavier than my previous ride, I guess around 8,2 - 8,4 kg or so, but I figure the novelty of riding Di2 and disc will make up for that, at least for a part.

The bike should arrive this week, so I hope I will be able to take it out on it's first spin next weekend.

Here is a link to my new ride: https://www.giant-bicycles.com/us/defy-advanced-pro-0

Hi Dan,

Welcome back. I'm sure you will be looking for ways to lighten your new ride up once you get it.
Thanks!

Yep, I already opened a separate thread to that purpose. Once a WW... :)
