So.... I thought after purchasing my custom Rob English rigid 29er bike, I would be done with buying dirt bikes. I once owned a cross bike and I was less than thrilled with in, for LA trails. I just felt a rigid 29er with BOOST spacing would be sufficient enough to conquer our rocky terrain..
After riding the English around LA for a few months, I now realize riding to the trail from my front step on a rigid 29er with 2.4 tires, is tiresome.... John Prolly hit me up, as I've been nagging him about this Crema bike he owned. The English 29er was an idea I thought about, after watching the Crema short film on Vimeo, where the Owner Ken is riding beautiful fire roads on his rigid 29er. So getting a chace to own a Crema, is something I couldn't pass up.
I stripped the frame down and I'm sending it off to get repainted. I'm going with a nice blue with metallic Silver CREMA logos, with some alterations to the CREMA logo. Should be sick.. Here are some pics and the build I have planned for it. I should have it back from paint in a few weeks and then will start sending all of my money to Fairwheel Bikes for the build parts..
