#CATCH ME IF YOU CAN#
Hello guys, this is my first topic post on WW, and I am glad to share my new "PROJECT SL" to you all. The frame is 2013 Fuji altamira sl (yes, the old TOP line version of FUJI), and the paint job is designed by me (although not painted by me). The project showed in the picture with ax-lightness wheelset is a "just so so" result—4.89kg, and I find that there is still some place for me to upgrade to save another 100g maybe. No more words to say, just look at the picture! Thank you!
yes, I have two climbing wheelset, one is MCC 24, the other is ax-lightness u24t
CATCH ME IF YOU CAN!!!
And final, the weight:

Hi, the sleeve is used for protect the crank arms, because I am from China, I got them on "Taobao.com", but you can also get them on eBay, just search for "crank arm protector"
Nice build, the paint looks very professional. You've achieved an impressively light weight with all those expensive parts, which of course are part of the parcel, but do you plan on doing any tuning? I suspect you might be able to drop quite a few grams with some modifications to some of the heavier parts like the shifters and FD.
Thank you very much! Currently, I am not plan to do the tuning job, because there may be other ways for me to drop the weight. The frameset is 950g and the fork is 320g, if I change the frameset to Fuji sl ( or Focus izalco max, Trek emonda slr, Cervelo Rca, etc.), I can drop 300g immediately, the chaingring I used before was Extralite Octaramp RC2, which is 60g lighter than the SRAM, but I choose the SRAM because the Extralite can't be as rigid as it. Tuning is a high-grade job, if I have all the part changed into the lightest one, maybe I will do it to gain further result, but for now I still want the bike to be a daily bike, and some time a racing machine, so I think it may not be necessary for me to do the tuning now.themidge wrote: ↑Tue May 08, 2018 4:31 pmNice build, the paint looks very professional.
