2017 Cannondale SuperSix EVO Hi-MOD 5.56 Kg ( Pics on first page)

Got a killer deal on a SuperSix Evo Hi-Mod frame and I couldn't refuse. This is my second road bike, my first one was a Caad 12 (6,62Kg). With this project I want to build a bike under 6KG. Maybe it will be between 5.5 and 5.7 KG, a little bit heavier if I will install the power meter.
I'm still deciding which groupset to install ( eTap vs Da Di2) and which crank. For the other parts I will go on MCFK, Extralite, Carbon Ti, Look, Deda Elementi, Veloflex and maybe a Berk saddle instead of San Marco. For the wheels, i ordered a tubular wheelset from an artisan in italy, they will be under 1050 Gr.
Well, now it's time to show some photos.

The weight frame is875 Grams, including the BB30.
It's a bit heavy for a 50" frame.
Ceramic BB30 Bearings 40 Grams.
The fork weight is 262 Gr including the original Expander. Probably I will cut a part for saving other grams.
I already changed the original bottle cages's bolts with aftermarkets Carbon Ti Ergal screws. The weight saving was 4 Grams.

This gloss black and chrome Hi-Mod always weighs up heavy. The paint must be very thick; it has to weigh ~120g+.
This should turn out real good! Looking forward to it

Damn, before buy this frame I was thinking it was 750 Gr.. I was a little bit confused when i saw the real weight.. Anyway I hope to make a light build without cares about these 120 grams.

Most 25.4 mm seat posts ID are a close fit with a Di2 battery. Two O-rings with about 10% compression work. (Specific size depends on the ID of your seat post.)
Put the O-rings on the battery: one in the middle and one on the far end (not in the groove). Then push the battery into the post. Let the O-rings "roll" along the battery. Don't push it in too far, you want something to grip when you remove it.
O-rings also let you cut the seat post shorter if you like.

On my Caad12 i have cut my seatpost ( Hylix), the weight was very awesome, about 115 Grams. Maybe i will cut too the MCFK for saving some grams. I found a good deal on a 25,4 x 420mm.
