What sort of shrinkwrap did you use? How's the lever body feel?

It looks like you'll need to cut some heatshrink away from the shifter paddle in order to shift unimpeded. Another 0.1g to be saved 😉

It looks nice and smooth, but a bit chunky around the shifter body (especially at the top). Is it fully shrunk yet?

Hey man. Good job with the bike and the tuning  Keep it up. I like what you did with the bar plugs. That takes a steady hand and some skill  I would like to hear more about the shrink wrap. Maybe some more pics. I think it looks cool.
@godzuki26 Wow, Master! I like your works very very much, I learned a lot of skills from your posts, but i have not too much tools. Thanks,i will keep it up!

the shrink wrap is used to cover a fishing rod,I don't know it's brand,It's diameter is 50mm,here it is:

I wonder if it would fit Shimano levers. How much you saved compared to stock hoods?

I think there is no problem to fit Shimano levers;the Sram RED original hoods is 45 grams and this one is 20 grams.

thanks! i will try to cut off some of the heatstrink ,i'am not sure it's fully shrunk, because i have no heat gun and i just use a lighter to heat them,it may not heated evenly.the specifications says it can shrunk to half.

by the way,I like your 4.42Kg Cannondale! :D

Thanks. Heat gun is the best option. Mine aren't perfect, but better than the 1st attempt...
You can see with the RH shifter where I had to trim away a semi circle shape to accommodate the shifter action for a triple downshift.
