For those interested, weights of vcls 2.0 post and H36 aero bars. Neither are being used for this build.

Woah, these are anchors  :?
To be fair, I think the weight of the aero bar is quite reasonable. I’ve not ridden them, but in hand they feel stiff as a stiff thing. Not aware of any other aero bar that is much lighter (except the bontrager xxx, but that isn’t really ‘aero’, and is pretty flexy). The seat post is an anchor, I agree.

According to my trusty spreadsheet, it should come out at 4.9 with my tubs and 5.1 with my clinchers.

I've these and have to admit that they don't flex at all while sprinting. Alas and I'm far from feather weight series!

Btw on the build. The ritchey stem matches 1 1/4"? Or did you get conversion kit for the fork to adapt stem?

Don’t think there is a conversion kit - you can’t shrink the fork diameter presumably??

It is a 1 1/4. Came out at 118 with ti bolts for a 110 which I thought wasn’t bad.

True it's other way around on stems. But still 118g isn't bad comparing that extralite goes to for 83g and the difference is neglible.

I certainly hope it’s not as bendy as the extralite. I’m no powerhouse, but found the Roadstem too flexy for me. Very little choice with a 1 1/4 steerer though. The Ritchey was the lightest I could find.

Subscribed. I really wanted to get this frame but couldn't wait for it here in the US. Ended up getting a Ultimate CF SLX 8 and selling all the parts just to have the frame.

The weight of those bars are pretty spot on with my Alabarda's though mine could be lighter by a drip minus the paint. Nice bike btw....looking forward to seeing it built.

Having said all that, I think the aero bars on my Madone are apparently around 290g. I find them stiff enough - not solid, but plenty for a 65 kilo weakling.

I have the previous (2013) Ultimate CF SLX. Has been a great bike. This one has come about due a psycho who deliberately drove into me as I cycled up his inside... The SLX survived the impact, although I almost didn’t. The insurance payout is funding this build...

Almost done. The tyres don’t really work with the colour scheme, but they were what was on the wheels. I have some Corsa Speeds with the black sidewalls which I’ll probably use.

Once pedals are added, should be 4.9kg ish.

In fact, tans look good almost on any bike, especially if it has a lot of black :D A mean looking machine you've got there!

Will full build list be posted as well?
