Looks awesome! This was the frame I was going to get if my Hi Mod didn’t come through. Looking forward to more pics. How much did frame and fork weigh?
Cheers chaps,
Would you believe I forgot to weigh the frame and forks... The frame with the BB and headset bearings was about 780g if I remember correctly.... Anyhow I have started to build it now and will post a few pics tomorrow....

That's exciting to hear. 780 with the bb and headset? mmmmmmm
Can't wait for the pics!
Build progress....
Cables, chain, pedals and chainset to fit .... Chainset on order....
Bartape - do I go black or white??
Stem and seatpost decals - do I remove them?? Hmmmmmmmm.... Initially I am thinking leave the decals and go black tape....
I am hoping that it will come in complete under 6Kg...
Cheers,
Lig.

Did you mean 5kg? The white spokes look really grows on me.
I wish... but sadly not....
I have just installed the cables and the weight is 4.78Kg....
So approx weights to add are:
Pedals 200g
Cranks 500g
Chain 250g
Bartape 50g
Which will bring the total to around 5.78Kg.
Cheers,
Lig.

Keep the seat decal, maybe lose the stem one, although it's notmassive.

Frame weight & size, please
Exp001 || Other projects in the works.
PYC chain is about ~215g (as per 4ibanez's thread), Deda Traforato is about 35g with plugs. CarbonWorks cages will save another ~40g compared to Mandibles. That's almost 100g less. If your fit works with a zero-offset seatpost, then look at Darimo T1, it's 68g for 25cm, should be significantly lighter even in your length.
Cheers guys....
@Prendrefeu - Size is XL and from memory the frame with BB and headset bearings was around 780g
@Klaster1 - Thanks, I didnt know about the PYC chains, they are cheap too but I have a few KMCs 'in stock' and I like the black. I will check out the tape and yes I have looked at the CarbonWorks cages and might invest, although I do like the reliability of the mandibles. I will see how the seatpost performs...
Cheers,
Lig.

...not just another black glossy bike. This is good stuff. Lots of good stuff.
It's one mean machine from the aggresssive drop down to the build components.
I love seeing the carbon patterns throughout the frame and stem. It just works well together.
White bar tape might look nice for awhile with your white spokes, but I gotta believe it won't stay white for long. Your machine is all business and I think black bar tape and a black saddle is the "right" choice.

Thanks Johnny for your kind words...
I nearly paid extra to have the frame painted a solid colour, but so glad I didn't as it does look great in the Sun....
Yeah, black bar tape it is....

I agree with Jonny, maybe one more white component might be nice, IMO a saddle or a stripe of white paint (or tape) round the middle of the seatpost, or the top end Time pedals. They have a little flash of white on them IIRC. Could work...Either way, looks really nice - keep the pics coming!
