Hi’
I would like to change the chainset to a Sram bb30. Now the frame have the osbb alloy with 30to24mm adapter for hollowtech II.

Can I simply remove the shimano adapter and insert a bb30 Sram without new adapters?
Thanks! :D

Yes, the'll come right out. It's basically just a plactic reducer inserted into the BB30 bearings, so pull them out and you should be ready to install the new crank.

and I'd opt for lighter tyres.

with latex tubes, or tubolite tubes (39 grams..)

A nerdy and specific problem!

I have just got the 105 chainset of, and the 30 to 24mm adapters seem to have det bearings glued into them.
So I need to order new bearings..
I have also bought a Sram Force bb30 chainset. (10 speed)
Do I need spacers or wobble spacers, and/or do i need some kind of seal between the beaings and the sram chainset? :?:

I have now ordered the new bearings.
Does any of you know have many spacers/washers I need on a Allez Smartweld to install the Sram force cranks?
The bearing set is from BBB, and has only one washer with it. :noidea:

Now 7.2 kg

could save weight with lighter seatpost, lightweight tubes.

I'm satisfied. The bike cost 1200 dollars!
Great bike!

Made it more stealth!
I only want to change the cables and rearbrake for a all-black look.
