So.... I just picked up my Rob English Rigid 29er, which I've been too busy shredding to take some pics.
Maybe I'll get lucky and John Prolly will shoot it soon?
Anyhoots, I was in SF over the weekend and I had PM'd a seller on another forum about a year old ad for a Firefly frame.
We met up, I rode the Firefly and looked at the Geo chart. The geometry is pretty much spot on with my SV, except a steeper Seattube as the frame was built for a setback.
Kind of a random purchase, as I have my SSEVO incoming from Kevin @ Cryptic that I had sanded and clear coat.

Here's my build list...

- Firefly Ti Frame (44mm HT / PF30 BB / 1" Stays / Internal Wiring Routing / Blasted finish)
- Enve 2.0 Carbon fork
- Extralite Ultratop 44
- Extralite Ultrabottom 44
- Extralite Hyperstem 110mm -12
- New Ultimate Evo bars
- Lizard Skin DSP bartape
- Shimano 9150 Shifters
- Shimano 9150 FD
- Shimano 9150 RD
- EE Brakes
- THM M3 cranks
- THM PF30 BB
- THM 110 BCD Spider
- Extralite RC2 rings 50/34
- Extralite Chainring boltset
- KMC X11SL chain
- Speedplay Ti Zero pedals
- MCFK 27.2 Seatpost
- Tune Seatpost Collar
- MCFK 3k 135mm Saddle
- Schmolke 45 TLO Tubular | Tune MIG70 Front Hub
- Schmolke 45 TLO Tubular | Tune MAG170 Rear Hub | Ceramicspeed bearing upgrade
- Veloflex Vlaanderen 27mm Tubular tires

Better pics to come...
Bike weighed at Incycle after build, weight = 13.5 LBS..

I rode Stunt -> Descend Stunt -> Mulholland -> Cold Canyon Road -> Piuma -> Schuren Road -> Saddle Peak -> Top of Stunt -> Descend Stunt -> 7min Hill -> Old Topanga (34.8mi / 4,700ft)

My review after that ride is one of amazement! I don't know if all Ti rides like this, or if it's the magic from the guys at Firefly? I'm going to lean to the latter and say the guys at Firefly know how to build amazing frames from a beauty and riding standpoint. This bike mutes the road like no other bike I've ridden. The 1" thick chainstays are so beefy, that the rear snaps like any one of the random carbon frames I've owned. I have a Speedvagen and I always pulled that bike for long smooth rides, but the Firefly trumps it in smoothness. I'm also running Di2 for the first time and I'm sold on electronic shifting. I was a defender of mechanical, but Di2 just works. It makes shifting the front a breeze. I still want to upgrade a few things on the bike, but here are a few random pics with my Fuji.

I have a lighter wheelset (Tune 45/150 hubs, laced to Schmolke 30TLO rims) which weigh in the high 900g realm. That should bring the weight down a bit, but the 45TLO wheels on the bike now are 1020g. The deep wheels make this bike fly on the flats and descents, but the 30TLO wheels are just good at everything.

Wauw, cool !

That is one of the most still (IMHO) usable weight weenies bikes I have seen !

What is the frame size please and is it still a stiff configuration ?
