2018 Scott Addict RC Premium disc-5.87kg

Hello everyone, this is my first post & first road bike, this bike maybe no lightweight type, because it’s a disc brake road bike...

But it’s my first road bike, so I looking for many informations to save weight, hope can build a lightweight disc brake bike. finally I choose a 2018 SCOTT Addict RC Premium Disc, it’s a light & strong frame, and looking good

Finally finished this bike, but THM crank out of stock in our distributor, so I used Red 22 GXP, without pedal is 5.87kg, with pedal is 6.01kg(Speedplay Zero Nanogram), if upgrade THM can be save 100g.

I have the assembly & maintenance MTB bike experience, and got the almost necessary tools, I enjoy this process and assembly in my home, it’s funny

I choosed SRAM eTap HRD to build, it may not a lightweight choose, but it look neat and clean



RD weight (Short cage and update Enduro pulley with Carbon-Ti alu bolt, it save 6g)

The hydraulic brake is best choose, so I upgrade a HRD shift-brake control to my eTap group set.



Actually, at first I want to use cable actuated hydraulic caiper to match eTap shifter, but HRD will more complete and light.

Stunning build and dito weight!! Do you have a complete build list? Intrested especially in the smaller parts like seatpost clamp, rotors, tyre setup,... Only thing that freaks me out, is the look of those chainrings. There seems to be almost no material to them. How is the shifting? Even with complete bone stock setup, etap perfect front shifting is not easy to achieve. I can imagine the patience needed to do it right with those rings

Can the wheels be de-stickered? There is a little too much white in it, and almost no with elsewere on the bike

What did you use instead of the stock alu part intended for shift cable entry at the headtube? Can you post a close-up pic?

The chainring is Extralite, it perfect work with eTap front derailleur, shifting is good.

Mcfk no make a black decals, so I cannot do anything in this moment...

Headtube plug is a plastic, it not a bike parts, stock alu plug is not a good match with eTap.

nice build what type or rotors are these? weight? assuming you are using bolt on thru axles.

Write down a list of all components and parts used please. Weight of each in the same list would be awesome. Very nice bike btw. Some lighter tubulars wheels/tires and pedals would bring the weight down considerably too.

Wowzer very nice build, puts my Supersix disc to shame!

I have the same wheelset on my build and if you remove the stickers you can save yourself 20g which would bring this under 6kg, plus I wasn't a fan of the stickers anyway so it's win win!
