I´ve bought the Darimo 25,4mm x 300mm seat post... Is amazing: 81grdereksmalls wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2017 2:03 amI didn't know Darimo did a 25.4mm seatpost, it's not on their website. Also does your expected weight include bottle cages? There aren't any shown in your Insta photos

Yes, 4,8kg is the calculated weight based on the build list.

Yes, they have a very similar project. But I dont want to apply a final clear coat.
The mine one will go only on a UV wax coat, to keep the naked carbon looking.

I am sure you now but eTap is heavier than R9150 Di2 shift components. Red cassette, crank, brakes are lighter but none of these really matter for a sub 5kg goal.

is that SRAM red crankset the BB30 axle version not GXP? I presume so but just wanted to confirm if the weight is comparable with my build
Its the BB30 version, the GXP version has the spindle pressed onto the drive side arm/spiderTitusrider wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2017 5:05 pmis that SRAM red crankset the BB30 axle version not GXP? I presume so but just wanted to confirm if the weight is comparable with my build

Any updates?
How did you know what frame year/model to buy to get a light one?
I saw another thread and the frame was 875 with only two bb30 bearings. Evo himod 2015-2016. The explanation was that it had the heavy glossy gold/black paintwork. However after stripping the paint I don't think he could get to your 642gr.
Just curious if you weighed several frames in stock and picked a light one or something?
I'm interested in picking one up myself but I'm not sure if the new frame is the best to choose or go with switching the fork on an older frame is the right way to go.
Thanks for reading/commenting

I think the earlier Evo Hi Mod frames were the lightest. I have a 2014 that I stripped and the weight dropped from 860g to 770g I was expecting more but when I originally weighed the frame and saw the starting point I knew there was no chance I’d get down to sub 700g

I have worked on it 3 weeks and it's a really tedious task.
The weight has gone up to 642gr.
So 116 gr saved by ditching paint.
