Changed a few things up; I'm back on 25mm tires as I prefer the handling which means I'm also back on the 3T fork. Because weight weenies. I've also decided to revisit di2 (my time with 9070 was not exactly loving) and I am absolutely blown away by the new 9150. Honestly, I can't remember the last piece of cycling kit that surprised me as much as this group is so far. While I was swapping groups, I also threw the Deda SL bars back on... for no real reason I suppose. I experimented with a SISL2 for a time (which is now on to Ryan's bike) but gravitated back to the Red22 crank because I don't care about beating it up. Last, but certainly not least, I had Fairwheel Bikes build me a set of FSE 35s on Carbon-Ti hubs. Initial impressions are very, very good. Keep an eye out for a thread to discuss the wheels (and FWB experience) in greater detail.

Sitting at 5911g right now.
Beautiful and elegant. Any chance you could post a non drive side shot? I'm curious to see the Di2 routing. Also was wiring the Di2 as much of PITA as Ryan's bike?

Yes, Imaking20 was quite smitten with himself with how quickly he did it that he had to send me a picture right after. With the two Crumptons I wired, the holes were big enough to just shove the wires down the tube and pull them out with my hand at the BB shell. Literally took 15 minutes. With the Litespeed you can't do it that way.

I recall watching a video where a guy routed internal wires using a string and a vacuum cleaner. You basically use the air generated by the vacuum to draw the string through obstacles. It should work very well on handlebars. Not sure about frames.

Oh My! Are you gonna ask for a replacement or a refund? I think the Sram 1190 is still the best WW cassette. Too bad I’m not using one anymore because I like the Shimano gear ratios better. A lot of WW cassettes like the UNO has wider gaps on the lower gears to save weight. I prefer smaller gaps on the lower gears.

Are you using bar end junction with your Deda SL? I am wondering whether it would fit

This thread sucks big time. I’m hoping the moderators will delete is soon before it’s too late and ends up costing me a fortune ;) .

That is one sweet looking bike. So much so that I found myself emailing Litespeed last week and then the Japanese distributor this morning.

This will be my first Ti bike. I sold my carbon bike last year after I got myself a custom steel bike. The custom is my dream bike but I’ve decided I want something that will be super nice to ride every morning and not worry about scratching it or riding it in the rain. I haven’t decided on the build yet but it won’t be as bling as this.

To the OP, I read that you are about 6ft and went with a medium. I’m around 6ft1 so was planning on getting the ML. Are you happy with the size of your M for you? Do you wish it was a little bigger? Smaller?

I’m looking at getting either DA9100 or Red22 (both mechanical). Which would you go with if you could only choose one Groupset (my funds don’t extend to picking and choosing different parts from different groupsets).

Cheers
