After ~12 years, my Colnago Classic was in dire need of TLC (misc frame repairs and definitely a repaint). I was never crazy about the original paint scheme (D14N) and none of the others for that model appealed to me (except the red, but I already have a red bike). The new one is essentially PRZA. New components will be Campy Record 11 (carbon). Paint/rehab job done by Hottubes.

Pairing new carbon groupsets with older steel frames really compliment each other. Bomb proof frame with new tech groupsets!

Thanks all. I appreciate the positive feedback. It was an anxiety-laden choice for sure.

Very nice! Was Ernesto's signature left out on purpose?

My understanding is that it's on the non-drive side (standard for this paint job).

will post pix of the full build (both sides) once done.
