I have always wanted to try a disc road bike, so when my Tarmac SL5 got broken, I bought this used Vias Expert and gave it an upgrade.

I like this color and this is the first time when the disc brake version nicer than rim brake version.

Not bad looking, are you gonna try to shave a few gramms?
By the way, where are you based in China?

I am relatively heavy so bike weight isn't really a issue to me. I think I'm gonna stick to it for now and switch to Tarmac SL6 Disc when it came out.

I live in Qingdao, most famous for its beer :beerchug:

I would prefer a rim version if this is a "normal" road frame, but in case of Venge, the rim brake just doesn't work that well (I am heavy so brake is critical to me).

Your bike looks great!

How do you compare it with your SL5?

I thought only the pros had Roval wheels with white lettering, did you put decals on yourself?

I think it's definitely faster on flat, and the brake is way better. According to Tour it's less stiffer than SL5 (still stiffer than most aero frames), but I couldn't notice the difference. I went from a SL5 size 54 to Vias size 56, and I think 56 geometry suits me better.

Yeah, I bought the decals and put them on myself, it doesn't cover the original very well, but from a distance no one notice that :D
